During our English and History lessons we gathered information about the great fire of London in order to make our own news reports.

In Computing this week our learning objective is to leave a comment on our blog.

    Huge fire destroys London.

    A humongous, red fire ripped through London like a raging bull.
    Suddenly a house fell down on to Samuel’s and his house came tumbling down.
    Almost 300 houses were knocked down and 6 people died.
    Eye witnesses said the fire was ”terrible”.

      London was in chaos last night as a fire ripped through the city.
      On Monday, an orange, dangerous fire started and everybody was screaming.
      6 people died, and people ran away with their children.

      It started in a bakery shop on Pudding Lane.
      The orangey, red fire burned the white, big houses.
      The people are sailing wide, brown boats on the blue, shiny river.

      The people had to go on the roof and then they jumped off, and Samuel Pepys had to go to his friends house. He had to bury his wine and cheese to keep them safe.

      Samuel Pepys wrote about the fire in his rusty, black diary.
      The wind fanned the flames, and people had to throw buckets of water on the fire to put it out.
      The cathedral was destroyed by the fire.

    The raging, hot fire started in a bakery shop on Pudding Lane.
    St Pauls Cathedral was burnt to a crisp as the orange, red fire went through the city.
    People cried out of their windows that the fire was coming.

    A baker forgot to put his fire out after baking his bread.

    London is burning!
    Samuel saw the orange, burning fire coming to rip down his gigantic, wooden house up and people are running for their lives in burning hot Pudding Lane.
    The hot gigantic fire killed six people in one murdering hour in one day. It burnt 87 churches and 10,000 houses in 24 hours.
    The next day the weather was very hot!

    London was in chaos last night as a fire ripped through the city.
    A fire spread all over London.
    Sunday 2nd September 1666 was the day it all started and the horrible, burning fire lasted for 4 days.
    The fire started in a baker’s shop on Pudding Lane but soon spread to the surrounding houses leaving the people of London feeling scared.
    The wind dropped which slowed down the flames and the people fighting the fire were able to put it out.
    The King has said that London will be rebuilt using stone.

    An eye witness said ”When I looked out of my window I saw a fire burning down all of the houses and I felt scared”.
    The super, raging fire ended after 4 days when the wind stopped.
    The Kind has said that the city will be rebuilt using hard, fire proof bricks.

    A terrible, roaring fire spread all over London on Sunday 2nd September 1666.
    It destroyed 70,000 homes as it raced through the town like a wiked storm.
    It started in a baker’s shop on Pudding Lane.
    The people of London said they were very,very sad and in shock!
    The King has promised to rebuild the city and make it strong again.

    The scared, frightened people were worried about their children because they didn’t want them to get scared.
    The people were running as fast as they could to special boats and travelling as far as they could away from London.
    The huge, dangerous fire was spreading faster and faster because the houses were close together.
    People were screaming and throwing buckets over water on the fire.
